LoulouBee was started in 2004 by Alyson Gounden, a strategy consultant who gave up a fast paced career to be mother to three children. She named the company for her 2 older children, Louis "Loulou" and Zara "Bea" Beatrice; Theodore "Theo" wouldn't arrive until 2007 - but his spirit is in LoulouBee - that's him on this page!

When she moved from the UK to the US in 1998, Alyson noticed how different the products for babies were. She often brought gifts over for friends' babies from the States, and the gifts were such a hit that the idea for LoulouBee was born. We are very choosy about the products that we sell on LoulouBee. You can be sure that they are different, fun, eye catching and of a very high quality. That's just who we are!
